We recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of returning adult students at colleges and universities all over the U.S. during National Non-traditional Student Week, November 4 to 8, 2013. There are a host of events planned that are geared toward the adult learner. Student Life partners with the College of Arts and Sciences, the Interdisciplinary Studies Program and the Student Senate to collaborate on special events throughout the week.

An interactive workshop designed to conquer your fears about Twitter. Participants will learn about this social media outlet and ways that it can be integrated into your life.

This technology-enhanced workshop will focus on the use of LinkedIn.com, explore the site’s fundamental features and discuss how to incorporate the tool into your research and job search. Attendees will gain hands-on experience creating an account to use in their professional networking.
