How to reduce or increase your Federal Direct Loan
Loan reductions or increases cannot be made online.
If you are requesting a loan reduction DO NOT accept the award online. You can complete the 2012-2013 Financial Aid Request - Federal Direct Loan Reduction Form, or print the award letter from your student portal and draw a line through the amount listed and clearly indicate the lower Direct Loan amount requested.
If you are requesting an additional Federal Direct Loan you must complete the complete the 2012-2013 Financial Aid Request - Federal Direct Loan Increase Form.
Revision request for additional financial assistance are completed in order of receipt. The Financial Aid Office will begin processing revision request on September 4, 2012.
