Testing
All students taking exams are required to use lockers to store cell phones, coats, backpacks, and /or book bags. These items are prohibited in the testing room.
CLEP and DSST
CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) and DSST exams are given to GSU students by appointment only. Please contact Teresa Marez at 708.235.3964 or tmarez@govst.edu. Information is available in room B1215, the Academic Resource Center, or on the Internet.
The Academic Resource Center does not currently administer these tests - GRE, GMAT or LSAT.
Independent Study and Telecourse Examinations
All students wishing to take examinations in the Academic Resource Center MUST contact Teresa Marez at 708.235.3964 or tmarez@govst.edu to schedule an appointment.
Picture identification will be required prior to sitting for an examination. Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Drivers license
- State identification card
- Student ID
Exams by Appointment Only
Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 a.m – 2:30 p.m. (During midterms and final exams, by appointment only)
Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – noon. (During midterms and final exams, by appointment only)
Testing days and times are subject to change without notice.
Children are not permitted in the testing room, nor can they be left unattended in the office.
