Student Scholarships Sponsored by
the GSU Foundation and Alumni Association
The GSU Foundation devotes great effort each year to raising funds for scholarships in order to recognize academic excellence and to assist deserving students continue their studies. Scholarship offerings for the year are determined from a large list of possible scholarships. These offerings vary from year to year based on available funds.
CN Rail Fellowship Award - Deadline to apply: November 15, 2013
Two fellowships at $2,500 ($1,500 for Spring and $1,000 for Fall) (renewable for an additional year)
Eligibility
- Must be a degree seeking student enrolled (or enrolling) in the Online MBA Program in Supply Chain Management at the Governors State University;
- Must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.25;
- Must be enrolled (or enrolling) in a minimum of six credit hours per semester;
- Financial need in not a criterion.
Not Eligible
- Honors Scholars
- Employees of the University, excluding students receiving financial aid or state funds
Documentation Required
Applicant must submit 1) an application; 2) an essay (500 to 1,000 words) discussing your experience, if any, in supply chain management, career aspirations, and why you have chosen this field of study; 3) a resume; and 4) two letters of reference attesting to academic excellence and/or professional accomplishment are required.
