Ronald Brubaker Memorial Fund For Computer Science Program Laboratory Support
Background
Ronald Brubaker joined the Governors State University faculty early in its history. He was a person of many interests and talents. During his years at GSU, Ron filled many different roles in the College of Arts and Sciences—environmental science professor, division chair, dean, computer science professor and program director, network administrator, but most importantly, friend and colleague. Memorial Fund
A Memorial Fund has been established to honor the memory of Ronald Brubaker. The Memorial Fund commemorates Ron's contributions to computer innovation in both hardware and software and will provide support for:
- Technological innovation utilizing computers;
- Start-up projects requiring funds to purchase new software and hardware;
- Opportunities for hands-on experience with new technologies.
This Memorial Fund needs your support to continue its support for new ideas using computers. Please honor the memory and commitment of Dr. Brubaker with a donation to the GSU Foundation/Brubaker Fund.

Brubaker Grant
The Ronald Brubaker Grant Fund exists to encourage and assist the GSU community, faculty and faculty-sponsored students, to initiate creative and/or scholarly research-related activities that will promote technological innovation.
The Grant Committee invites small grant proposal applications for the IT related activities. Governors State University students and faculty are encouraged to submit proposals for funding. The deadline has been extended to February 18, 2011. Information on deadlines and how to apply is outlined in the Ronald Brubaker Grant Application.
