Long Term Care Insurance
Plan Provisions (Not accepting new entrants effective July 1, 2011)
Long term care refers to assistance that is required with routine, everyday activities such as eating, bathing or dressing. These services are not typically covered by medical or disability insurance and can be very expensive. Medicare plans also limit the amount of coverage for these services.
Employees can choose between a comprehensive plan and a facilities-only plan. Daily and lifetime benefit amounts available are $80/day and $100,000 or $120/day and $150,000.
