Construction Update 8/22/14

Our book stacks are temporarily closed and staff have no access to them until Monday, August 25.

The library will be closed Sunday August 24, 2014.

The newly renovated GSU Library will be open for business at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, August 25th. We invite you to come in and use the library. We simply ask for your patience as there will be ongoing changes and additions to library operations. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Lydia Morrow Ruetten, Dean of the GSU Library at lruetten@govst.edu.

The University Library is often thought of as the campus living room. This is where you can find a quiet corner to study or space for classmates to discuss and work together. It's also where you - along with faculty and alumni - find study areas surrounded by art. The community is welcome here, too.

The resources of the Library are extensive, including membership in the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois. This gives you access to I-Share, the catalogs of 86 libraries across the state. If you're new to accessing books or information, one of our librarians will be there to guide you. You can even send a query online.
