“The Dual Degree Program has provided me with a vehicle to explore my passion for advocacy and leadership through substantive experiences that were only attainable through this unique and meaningful program. For instance, I was gifted with the opportunity to apply for the full tuition merit-scholarship, in which I was only eligible due to my title as a DDP student. Another prime example includes the monthly community service activities that are available for students to contribute throughout the GSU community. Lastly, the leadership skills and confidence that I have developed as a result of being a mentor have lead me and other DDP students to obtain memberships within various student organizations on campus.”
