This certificate program is open to both graduate and undergraduate students.
Students must have a background in networking or operating systems and discrete mathematics or seek additional assistance. GSU undergraduates may enroll in this certificate program for elective credit toward their bachelor's degrees. Students from other institutions or universities should check with their home institutions to determine the transferability of course work.
Special Admission Requirements
In addition to meeting the university requirements for certificate admission, applicants must have completed the following courses in either the first or second category.
CPSC 4205 (or its equivalent)
CPSC 4335 (or its equivalent)
CPSC 4342 (or its equivalent)
CPSC 5000 (or its equivalent)
Note: Students need to be aware that they must have a discrete mathematics background. If the student does not have that background, they will need to seek assistance.
