Description: Presented by This engaging discussion presents economics from a historical and practical perspective. The contributions of well-known and less known economic pioneers are presented with a distinct emphasis on their historical importance in the development of our modern economy. Major booms such as the industrial revolution are discussed alongside more challenged periods such as the Great Depression. Specific concepts pertaining to labor markets and economic growth will also be presented. A brief explanation of economic tools and data points will also be explored.

The discussion will conclude by bringing participants to the current period using a range of economic concepts to support an open dialogue for discussing future economic possibilities.
