  • Parent/Family Orientation

GSU’s First Year Orientation will have a family component.  Family members will have the opportunity to learn more about GSU and what your student will experience.  You will be able to ask questions, and take a campus tour. We will also provide information about various academic programs and services available to first-year students.

All first-year students are required to attend one of the New Student Orientation sessions offered throughout the summer.  All sessions will consist of a full day program with an optional overnight component for those students and families that would like to reserve a room in a nearby hotel and join us for activities the previous evening.
