The CenterPoint for Entrepreneurs Offers Business Counseling at Tinley Park Village Hall


University Park, IL, October 29, 2008 – The CenterPoint for Entrepreneurs at Governors State University has expanded its counseling services into Tinley Park by providing free, confidential business counseling and consultations at the Tinley Park Village Hall, on Wednesdays, by appointment only.

“Tinley Park’s business community continues to grow at a rapid pace,” noted Patrick Rea, Tinley Park Trustee and SBA Midwest Region Administrator. Last year, the village added 91 new businesses, the highest number in three years.
“We’re fully committed to providing our business owners with the best resources and joining forces with The CenterPoint for Entrepreneurs helps us fulfill that commitment,” added Rea.

CenterPoint’s team of business experts provides one-to-one counseling services to current and prospective business owners. Consulting services include assistance with business plans, loan proposals, marketing and advertising strategies, financial plan development, cash flow planning, business promotion, accounting, taxation, legal and patent issues, government contracting, certifications, and international trade.

“Owning a business can be challenging, especially in the current economic climate,” said Hilary Burkinshaw, Director of The CenterPoint for Entrepreneurs. “We provide the expertise and resources that businesses need to be successful.”

The CenterPoint for Entrepreneurs has established itself as the regional leader in business consultation. Since 2000, they have counseled over 8,000 clients, helping them create and expand their businesses with over $1 million in loan financing.

Counseling is also available, Monday through Friday, at CenterPoint’s GSU location located at 1 University Parkway, University Park, Illinois.
