University Park, Illinois, June 30, 2006 – Governors State University’s College of Business and Public Administration (CBPA) will hold a Graduate Programs Open House on Saturday, July 15, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., in the Hall of Honors on the university’s main campus, 1 University Parkway, University Park, IL.
Faculty, advisors, and administrators from the college will be on hand to answer questions about the programs. Students are welcome to bring college transcripts for review as well.
The CBPA offers graduate degrees in accounting, business administration, management information systems, and public administration. Classes are available in the evenings, weekends, and online to coincide with the busy schedules of graduate students balancing education, work, and life.
“We realize the importance of making education accessible to our students,” said Dr. William Nowlin, dean of the College of Business and Public Administration. “We’re continuing to provide new solutions to our students like the recent expansion of our MBA program, for instance.” Beginning with the Fall 2006 Trimester, the MBA program will be available on campus, on weekends, and online.
