FACULTY PROFILE

A University Lecturer in the Division of Arts and Letters. Chris teaches in the English department and Interdisciplinary Studies program. He has an ACCET Certification [IDELT] International Diploma in English Language Teaching and has been working with non-traditional and international students for over 20 years. As well as his teaching role at GSU, he serves as the coordinator of the University’s Credit for Prior Learning program collaborating extensively with GSU’s School of Extended Learning.

Chris has lived and worked in five American states and two countries; from a Catholic seminary in Seattle Washington to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers [IBEW] to three years in France [undocumented worker] and then to Chicago as the Director of International Programs at Columbia College Chicago before coming to Governors State University (GSU).
