Workshop – Why Do Kids Act That Way?

The Division of Psychology and Counseling is pleased to present a workshop titled “Why Do Kids Act That Way?” by Dr. Nancy S. Buck. The workshop will take place Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 4:30-7 p.m. in the faculty office center atrium.

In this workshop, Dr. Buck will share simple and effective strategies for improving relationships between children, peers, and adults; assisting children in learning how to solve their own problems responsibly and respectfully and helping parents, teachers, and other helping professionals to work out differences and conflicts during the most challenging and difficult moments.

Dr. Buck is internationally known for her work on this topic and is the author of “Peaceful Parenting,” “Why Do Kids Act That Way?” and “How To Be a Great Parent: Understanding Your Child’s Wants and Needs.” Books will be available for purchase with cash or check.
