Student Account Refunds
Student account refunds are processed on a weekly basis.
- If the student has completed the direct deposit form in WebAdisor on the myGSU portal, the refund amount will be direct deposited into the bank account on file. It is the student's responsibility to keep banking information current. If it is not current, it will delay the refund process.
- If the student has not completed a direct deposit form on the myGSU portal, these refund checks are mailed to the address on their student record. Refund checks cannot be picked up at the university. It is the responsibility of the student to assure that Governors State University has the correct mailing address.
- If the student pays with a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover, the refund may be credited to the same credit card that was used at the time of payment.
