Off-Campus Programs

Courses considered to be "off-campus" are those courses held at sites other than the main GSU campus in University Park, Illinois. Offered at over 25 different sites throughout the Chicago-metro area, these courses are scheduled in the late afternoon and early evening to meet the needs of adult learners. Courses listed are open to all students, providing they meet the course prerequisites. Not all courses are offered at each site.

Important Policy Information about Off-Campus Locations and Children in Classrooms

If you are registered for a class at an off-campus location, please note that children are not allowed in the buildings, hallways, or common areas. Because GSU is under lease with many of these locations and the lease agreements do not allow children in the buildings, if you should arrive with children, it is within the authority of the instructor or building security to ask you to leave the premises. This request relates to all off-campus locations and does not reflect Governors State University Policy on bringing children to the main University Park campus.

Please make arrangements for child care during the time you will be attending class at an off campus location.
