Dr. Rashidah Jaami' Muhammad

For the third year Dr. Rshidah J. Muhammad, Academic Coordinator of English Programs will serve as poetry judge for the annual Emerging Writers Competition (the Gwendolyn Brooks Poetry Award and the James Jones Short Story Award). The competition opened to unpublished residents 18 and over, is sponsored by Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White, the Illinois center for the book and the Illinois state library.
