BHA Mission Statement
Governors State University Undergraduate Program in Health Administration’s mission is to provide a high quality educational experience to a diverse student population, meeting the needs of both traditional and nontraditional students in the greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana area.
Our focus is to prepare students with the knowledge and skills needed to be competitive in the health care field and to promote life-long learning. Students graduating from our program will be equipped to secure an entry level, or based upon prior health care experience, a mid-entry level position as a health care administrator.
