The COTL staff works collaboratively with faculty to select instructional methods, appropriate media, and facilitation strategies to achieve instructional goals.
Online and face-to-face workshops, on-demand training and reference material, and individual assistance in designing and developing digital content support faculty in meeting best-practice standards in online education.
The Center also hosts the annual GSU Faculty Summer Institute, which brings in guest experts from other institutions and also provides GSU faculty with an opportunity to share with peers the ways in which they use technology to increase their teaching effectiveness, in both the online and traditional classroom.
