Governors State University offers a variety of tuition waivers and graduate assistantships. These tuition waivers and assistantships are generally awarded based on academic merit. Illinois Special Education Teacher Tuition Waiver (SETTW) Program
The Illinois Special Education Teacher Tuition waiver is intended for teachers or academically talented students pursuing a career in special education as a public, private or parochial preschool, elementary or secondary school teacher in Illinois.
