Barriers to Higher Education for American Indians and Hispanic/Latino/Latina Students
Specific Aims
The aim of this project is to increase enrollment of American Indians and Hispanics/Latinos/Latinas in the social work program at Governors State University, at both the BSW and MSW levels. To facilitate outreach and recruitment and to aid American Indian and Hispanic/Latino/Latina students to be successful candidates in the BSW and MSW program, it is necessary to understand the barriers to higher education for these students. Therefore, this project will focus research efforts on studying the barriers to higher education for American Indians and Hispanics/Latinos/Latinas.
