Investing in GSU's Future

To provide supplemental funds for scholarships, strategic initiatives and programs that are not supported by state funds, the GSU Foundation asks for donations from friends, alumni, employees, foundations, philanthropists, organizations and corporations. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization; donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

You can invest in Governors State University’s future through one of the following programs:

The Presidential Installment An installation is a time of academic and civic programming, a review of our past and strategic priorities for the future, along with a formal installation ceremony and refreshments.
The GSU Promise The GSU Promise is that students from community colleges that meet certain merit and need criteria are promised to graduate from GSU debt-free.
The Greater University Fund Strategic initiatives of GSU to achieve organizational excellence.
