Personal Computing
In order to successfully complete course assignments, today's GSU student can expect to use personal productivity computing software regularly. Whether the assignment is a short essay or a class presentation, GSU provides, in various campus locations, computers with Internet access and Microsoft software applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and FrontPage, as well as a number of multimedia packages, like Dreamweaver, Flash, and Photoshop.
Students with their own laptop computers can plug into special tables with electrical and Internet data connections in the University Library. Additionally, wireless access to the Internet is available in a number of spots throughout campus.
