Things to Do upon Arrival at the University

  1. Report to the university.
  2. Make an appointment with the Office of International Services (OIS).
  3. Meet the Designated School Official (DSO) during the first week of enrollment to complete transfer procedure as required by Immigration.
  4. Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor indicated on your "Certificate of Admission."
  5. Please provide a copy of your passport and I-94 card to the office.
  6. Show proof of health insurance for one year before registration of your course work.
  7. Register for classes.
  8. Show proof of registration to OIS.
  9. Apply for a student identification card.
  10. Obtain your student login id and password.
  11. Provide the school with your U.S. address while in the U.S. within 10 business days.
  12. Follow up on resourses and contacts provided by OIS.
  13. Attend the mandatory orientation session.
