Your next operational mission is to find purpose forever.
We can help.

Your military experience is invaluable. Whether you are active military, transitioning to civilian life or a dependent or military spouse, continuing your education will ensure your continued success. The Veterans Resource Center at Governors State University is your partner on this journey. We’ve been ranked “Best of the Best” by U.S. Veterans Magazine as a Top Veteran-Friendly School for several years—let’s take a moment to explore why.

Our predominantly military-connected staff is here to help you navigate VA Education Benefits, to offer career planning assistance, and to immerse you in campus life, including cultural events and sports. GovState is also a participating school with Air Force ROTC, and our staff represents military-connected student interests on many regional, statewide and national associations and boards. Plus, your GI Bill® assistance goes far here—up to 100% of your tuition will be covered.;

So, join us. Your next deployment is where you want to be.
