Whether you're interested in learning more about our collection of contemporary sculpture, experiencing the most unique cocktail party of the season or helping to restore our prairie, we have something for you.

SMall Bites Tours

Back by popular demand!

Come explore our internationally-acclaimed park on one of five FREE guided mini-tours delivered by our docent corps, ideal for a sunny Saturday morning. Visitors should gather on the patio behind D-Wing’s Hall of Governors at 10 a.m. (except for Wild West Tour on September 24 – gather in the parking lot across from Paul at 10 a.m.) Guests should wear sturdy, comfortable walking shoes.

Limited capacity of up to 20 people per tour. Reservations open 2 weeks before the scheduled tour (E.G. July 25 tours open for reservations July 11).

Saturday, May 28: The Usual Suspects

A mix of six works made from tires, cast bronze and steel; all are close to GSU's main building Activity Level: Easy

  

Saturday, June 25: The South Side

Join us as we cover "The South Side" of the sculpture park. We'll visit a collection of eccentric shapes and artworks made of unique materials such as rice paper, mild steel, limestone, wood, and more. We'll also visit a 'secret city' hidden in plain sight! Come on out and join the fun! Activity level: Moderate

 

Saturday, July 23: Into the Prairie

For this tour, we'll head north into the prairie and visit a temple/shed, a homage to jazz singer Billie Holiday and more. Activity Level: Moderate

 

Saturday, August 27: Prairie Property

This tour will take us deep into the park to visit Martin Puryear's poetical landscape-based masterpiece Bodark Arc, among the other works. Activity Level: Extensive walking 

  

Saturday, September 24: The Wild West

If you're new to sculpture, this is the tour for you! With titles that reference flying objects, Greek mythology, and a certain Midwestern lumberjack, this group of five works is for the curious. Activity Level: Easy

Carts & Cocktails

6th Annual Carts & Cocktails

Carts & Cocktails is an annual benefit fundraiser for Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park and the hottest cocktail party in town.
Guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, visit selected sculptures and travel through the natural prairie landscape on motorized carts.

International Sculpture Day

The Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park is participating in International Sculpture Day and, no matter where you are on the globe, you can join us! We’ll be debuting our new FREE mobile app on International Sculpture Day, April 24. Download the APP by searching for the Otocast.com site on either Apple or Android phones. This new APP will provide real-time directions to the park from anywhere and, once you’re here, directions to any of your favorite artworks. It will have photos, text, and recordings by many of the artists whose work is included in our collection.
