Individual campus tours
Campus tours are walking tours provided by a GSU Student Ambassador or GSU student. On your tour you can visit Prairie Place residence hall, various departments and additional campus
resources.. The following options are provided:
Main campus only: Approximately 45 minutes.
Main campus and Prairie Place Residence hall: Approximately 90 minutes.

Individuals or groups of less than 10 – Schedule a tour. Tours are currently available Mondays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3 p.m. Saturday tours are provided twice each month at 10 a.m. except on holiday weekends. Please check with the Office of Admission at 708-534-4490 for Saturday availability. An admissions representative MUST confirm your request. Expect confirmation within three business days. Please note: Tours are not private. The campus tour will start promptly. If you are running late, you may need to reschedule.
Group campus tours
Groups of more than 10 students, please email Noreen Heidelberg at firstname.lastname@example.org. Tours are available during the week at 10 a.m. Expect a response within 3 business days. Group visits must be confirmed. Please do not arrive to campus without a confirmed visit. Groups of more than 10 students should make arrangements at least THREE WEEKS
Visits are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and many
groups arrange visits months in advance.
- High school groups have the option to request an admissions information session in addition to a tour of campus which include Prairie Place residence hall.
- Please contact us no later than 3 days before your visit, if the number of attendees decreases.
- Cancellation Notice: If your tour needs to be cancelled, it is
essential that you notify us at least 3 days in advance for rescheduling
