The Campus Café is located in the middle of everything – a great place to grab a meal or snack. There are specials every day, plus salad bar, soup and pizza. You’ll also find vending machines with beverages and snacks located across the campus.
Civic Engagement is one of our core values at Governors State. In our new Civic Engagement and Community Service Center you’ll find our community service programs to get involved in and service-learning activities.

Center for Performing Arts announces new season
Governors State University’s Center for Performing Arts kicks off another exciting season that offers a live entertainment experience unlike any other in the Chicagoland area. The 2014-15 season features provocative theater; musical favorites like the Beatles, big band, and the blues; contemporary dance and family entertainment that are sure to leave a lasting impression.
From community college to Emory Law School: Student succeeds in GSU’s Dual Degree Program
The first group of students from Governors State University’s Dual Degree Program received their diplomas May 17, led by student trustee and commencement speaker Kayla Randolph-Clark, who received her bachelor’s degree in business administration – finance.
