Educational Credentials Evaluations - Applicants who have completed their baccalaureate studies in countries other than the United States are required to submit official transcripts and an evaluation from the Educational Credentials Evaluators, Inc. (ECE) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Early application is essential for review of documentation and entry visa processing by the International Student Office. Applicants must possess an acceptable bachelor's degree based on four or more years after grade 12, or the equivalent, from an accredited and approved institution of higher learning.

English Proficiency Requirements - All applicants whose native primary language is not English or who submit credentials from any country whose native primary language is not English are required to submit to the Office of Admission scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A minimum total score of 550 on the paper-based and 213 on the computer-based test is required. The institutional TOEFL code for GSU is 1263.
Financial Statement - International students are required to submit a financial statement to verify that they have adequate financial resources to support themselves while studying at GSU. Official admission letters and I-20s cannot be issued until adequate resources are documented.
