Dropping Courses
Courses are not automatically dropped due to nonattendance. Students must drop courses by the refund deadline to be eligible for a refund.
Courses dropped after the refund deadline but prior to the withdrawal deadline are listed on the student's academic record with a grade of "W" (Withdrawn).
Refund and withdrawal deadlines are listed at the My Class Schedule link in the myGSU portal. Some short-term courses have special deadlines which are listed in the comments field of the Schedule of Classes. Courses are dropped using the online registration system in the myGSU portal.
