At GSU, we understand that affording a university education is not easy. That's why we're committed to remaining affordable to students and offer various sources of financial aid.

With the most affordable undergraduate tuition of any state university in Illinois, we provide the same high quality education as other schools at a fraction of the cost.

If you're studying from a distance, we've got you covered as well. Out-of-state students who enroll in online courses may qualify for in-state tuition rates.

Part-time and full-time students are eligible for aid including grants, loans, and work-study. Additional types of aid include book allowances, tuition waivers, and scholarships.

Staff members from the financial aid and the admission offices are prepared to work with you to help plan your education, evaluate the costs, and apply for financial assistance.

Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available from the Office of Financial Aid or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, is required to help determine aid eligibility.
