Employment Workshops

The Office of International Services offers employment workshops for international students on F-1 & J-1 visas.

Administrator Workshops

These workshops are designed by the Office of International Services to provide information about international education to GSU faculty and staff.

Cultural Programming

Each semester, OIS offers a variety of both on-campus and off-campus cultural programming opportunities that allow international students to engage in local cultural activities. Event signups typically open 2-3 weeks before the event. For more information, please write to

    First Friends

    This program is designed to pair current international students with new international students before they arrive in the United States.


    Crosswinds is a program that pairs new international students with current domestic students at GSU.

    Conversational Cafe'

    The Office of International Services, along with the Intensive English Program, hosts Conversational Cafe', a language program designed to promote international student communications with domestic GSU students.

    International Education Week

    Each year, the Office of International Services coordinates GSU's efforts to host programming for International Education Week. IEW is a joint initiative by the U.S. Departments of State & Education. IEW 2015 will be from November 16th - 20th. Please check back soon for more details.

    International Women's Day

    Every year, OIS works with offices around the GSU campus to host programming that celebrates International Women's Day.
