Welcome! I am proud to be associated with a team of caring and dedicated student affairs educators and academic enrichment professionals. Together, as full and integral partners with the faculty of our four academic colleges and the campus community, we work to promote your personal, academic and professional success, and inspire you to be active citizens and leaders on campus and in your communities.
While members of the student affairs team are important contributors to the culmination of Renaissance 2014, which will include the admission of our first freshmen class and the opening of our first residential facilities, we have also been sharply focused on introducing new programs and initiatives to ensure that our current students achieve "success by degrees."
To this end, over the past year, the division has launched the Student Leadership Institute, a Student Concerns Program, a Student Coalition for Diversity and Social Justice, expanded Recreation and Club Sports opportunities, and reintroduced on-campus orientation programs for both new transfer and graduate students.
I take great pride in the accomplishments of the past year, but, above all else, I value the opportunity to support your efforts or help address any concerns you may have. I encourage you to drop by my office, located in the Student Life Center (A-2130), during my weekly open hours on Tuesdays from 4-5pm, or email me at email@example.com if you need anything at all. Even if you don’t need anything, stop in and simply visit!
