Activities and events for every age group occur year round at the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park. Whether you're interested in learning more about our collection of contemporary sculpture, experiencing the most unique cocktail party of the season or helping to restore our prairie, we have something for you.

Coming Events

Programs and events at the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park are sponsored, in part, by the generous assistance of individuals, corporations and the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.

IAC_LogokidsKites3

3rd Annual afternoon of Kids, Colors, and Kites

When: Sunday, June 1  1-4 p.m.
Where: Begin in E-Lounge where you’ll create your design, then fly ‘em anywhere in the park!
Audience: Families (recommended for children 6 and older)
FEE: $8 per kite (all art supplies included)

Bring your family to the event that celebrates 3-dimensional objects that fly! Your kite will be a Tyvek and dowel sled-kite that even Charlie Brown could fly. You’ll  create a spectacular or scary or majestic or whatever design your imagination can conjure. Once you’ve finished, take it outside anywhere in our over 100 acres of prairie and fly it high!
