Each contributor who submits a constructive suggestion to the "Why Not?" website will receive a participation reward, and will be eligible to win a Special Recognition reward.

The current tennis courts have decayed. Also, in previous years, some of our international students
used to play cricket in the vacant lot that is now being displaced by a Family Dollar store, on Exchange
Street east of the university a mile or so. International students want to play the sports they love, and
American students need to be exposed to new things.
Build a cricket field, for those who want to play, on GSU land.
Also build a soccer field on our land - a sport played around the world but under-noticed in the United
States - again to help our students become more international, and for the benefit of attracting and
serving international students.
Rebuild the tennis courts in a manner appropriate for a university.
Perhaps hire coaches and/or form leagues, in these sports. For starters, hire GSU students and/or GSU
staff to help, thus giving financial support to members of our university community who need it.
Thank you for your excellent suggestion. We have good news for you! The university is in the process of
planning and developing a multi-use field that could include a variety of sports. Your suggestions for
cricket and soccer fields will now be on the list of potential sports to be considered by the
