Life is Beautiful with the Arts

Life is Beautiful When Dance Lifts Your Soul Life is Beautiful when your child's confidence soars Life is Beautiful - Music

Dance tells a story that words cannot.

Theatre camp inspires confidence in our children in ways no other camp can.Big Band Music reminds us of a simpler time.
The arts educate, inspire, transport and enrich our lives. Yet they often fall by the wayside; the everyday concerns of life “take center stage” instead. However, what if you were to take a moment and imagine a world without music, or dance, or art, or any other artistic endeavor? The arts make life beautiful in many ways.

With so many challenges facing communities today, the Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University consistently provides positive, creative and unique experiences that enhance our cultural landscape and enrich the lives of south suburban residents.  The Center continues to bring people together through quality performing arts experiences for all ages that encourage community dialog, educate children of all ages, and help families make memories that will last a lifetime.

If you would like to show your support for this jewel of the south suburbs by making a gift to our annual campaign, Life is Beautiful with the Arts.
