What is "Why Not?"
"Why Not?" is a forum to submit constructive suggestions and ideas about Governors State University's processes, procedures, and policies. Constructive suggestions must:
- address improvements in the efficiency of a department, program, or procedure;
- improve services that support the university;
- eliminate unnecessary procedures or duplication of effort;
- save time, money, or materials; and
- contribute to the continuing growth and development of GSU.
How do I submit a suggestion?
Click on Ask "Why Not?" and fill in the blanks provided. You will receive a reply that your suggestion was received.
Suggestions will be reviewed by the "Why Not" administrator, who will solicit responses from the appropriate department. The constructive suggestions and responses will be posted online.
When should I expect a response?
The "Why Not?" administrator will respond to each suggestion within 30 days of the initial posting.
Can I view suggestions submitted to "Why Not?" ?
Just click on What's in Progress to see what other suggestions have been submitted.
