The Family Development Center (FDC) at Governors State University provides an
exceptional learning experience for the children of Chicago’s Southland communities
and accessible support for their families. We offer specialized services
for pregnant women and children ages 0 - 12 Monday through Friday.
The mission of the FDC is to produce
an innovative learning environment for children that
will lead to us become the model early
education center in the South Suburbs of Chicago.
