What was your undergraduate major and/or graduate program in?

I earned an undergraduate major in History and a Master’s (M.A) degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at DePaul University and a School Guidance Counselor degree program (M.A) from Lewis University.

How long have you been with GSU?

I have been working with GSU since January of 2018 as a Transfer Specialist at the City Colleges of Chicago with the Dual Degree Program and I have been in my current role as Academic Advisor since August of 2019.

What is one piece of advice you have for students?

I strongly encourage students take the time to build relationships on campus with their peers, academic advisor, professor(s), being engaged with student life and being open to student supports such as tutoring.

What is your favorite book/movie/TV show?

I have many favorite books, however, if I had to choose one book that I really enjoyed reading it would be The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. My favorite movie(s) are any of the Star Wars films and my favorite TV show lately is the Game of Thrones.

What is your favorite thing about GSU?

I enjoy my colleagues and eccentric personalities!
