Overview
The Department of Addictions Studies and Behavioral Health has been awarded a $507,000 grant through the Illinois Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery and the Illinois Certification Board to increase the number of certified alcohol and drug abuse counselors (CADCS) in Illinois. Through this grant, the College can provide tuition scholarships, internship stipends, and wraparound supports for cost of attendance expenses.

Criteria
- • Persons who are seeking to become a certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor through our accredited MHS in Addictions Studies are eligible to apply.
