Same Day Appointments and Let’s Talk Sessions
Same-day Access: Students have the opportunity for same-day access to meet with counselors by walking in without an appointment Monday-Friday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. These meetings are unscheduled and cannot be reserved in advance.
Let’s Talk: Available Monday-Friday 3:00PM-4:00PM, Let’s Talk provides one-time consultations. This offers an informal, confidential opportunity to speak with counselors to learn about therapy, problem-solve, discuss specific concerns, or seek resources. These sessions are not initial assessment appointments, or for mental health emergencies. If interested in counseling after a "Let’s Talk" session, you can schedule an initial triage appointment. Let’s Talk is not treatment, or therapy.
Both, Same Day Access and Let’s Talk walk-ins operate on a first-come, first-served basis, with the possibility of wait times.
Same Day Crisis Walk-in Services: Available for mental health emergencies, including suicidal thoughts, recent sexual assault incidents, or the death of a significant person, students can access crisis walk-in services without an appointment during office hours Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Urgent needs outside office hours, students can call 708.235.7334 anytime, anywhere.
