The Clothesline Project started in Cape
Cod, MA during the 1990’s to address the
prevalence of gender-based violence. The
display features shirts designed by victims/
survivors of sexual abuse as well as by
supportive friends and family. The event is
hosted in collaboration with the YWCA
Metropolitan Chicago.
