Established by the College's Student Advisory Board and funded through a variety of student-sponsored fundraising activities. The scholarship was designed to both stimulate and reward academic excellence in College of Business students who demonstrate a commitment to the college and a promise of leadership.

Eligibility:

• Student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale;
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the COB;
• Must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of the State of Illinois;
• Must have completed at least 12 graded credit hours at GSU;

Not eligible:

• Full-time employees of GSU are not eligible for this award.

Documents Required:

1. Students must submit an essay that discusses their commitment to school and community service and demonstrate their leadership capabilities.
2. Two appropriate letters of recommendation which affirm the applicant’s service commitment and describe their leadership qualities

Award Information:

Up to 4 awards totaling 1000 dollars each.

Note: Award amounts may vary based on funding, availability, and addition, if any, to principal. Amount awarded shall not exceed tuition costs.
