Services: The center offers confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Our services include counseling for needs such as depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST). We can also connect you with more support in VA and your community.

Services: Hospice, palliative care, and bereavement support. Special services for Veterans and/or family members of Veterans. Staff and volunteers are specially trained on physical and mental health issues that may affect veterans and their families, and how to offer veteran-centric support through our “We Honor Veterans” program. Special sensitivity to PTSD and moral injury that may surface near the end of life.

Services: Residence provides long-term housing in 141 studio apartments for Veterans as well as onsite case management services. St. Leo Campus for Veterans serves as a Permanent Supportive Housing Program that consists of 141 furnished studio apartments and common recreational space, a fitness room, a library, a computer lab, and multipurpose rooms for community meetings such as Alcoholics Anonymous, the resident’s council, and celebrations. The building is equipped with an elevator, laundry facilities, and the front desk is monitored 24 hours a day. On site comprehensive social services are provided to all Veterans in the building.

Services: The Veterans Assistance Commission of Lake County helps veterans apply for financial and medical aid, find jobs, and more. Lake County has grant funds available annually. For non-profit organizations and governmental entities to assist homeless persons. These funds provide for emergency shelters, transitional housing, permanent housing, and supportive services.
