Take a tour of the Greater Chicago Area and celebrate basketball at a Chicago Sky Game!
THE BUS LEAVES at 5 p.m. from the D Main Entrance. 1 ticket per student. Must register by 5pm on Jaguar Connection by 8/27/24.

Secretary of State Mobile Unit
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The Illinois Secretary of State’s office comes to campus to bring DMV services to GovState! Stop by to renew, replace, or correct driver’s licenses and State ID including Real ID; purchase vehicle stickers and register to become an organ/tissue donor.

Motorists may renew their driver’s license one year in advance of their license’s expiration date. A complete list of acceptable forms of identification is available at ilsos.gov.

Acceptable forms of payment include personal checks and Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards. Please note that cash will not be accepted.

Binge Fest 2024

Binge-watch some of the best short films from the 2024 Chicago Southland International Film Festival's Short Film Competition (CSIFF) and join the post-film discussion.

Free pizza, popcorn, and beverages will be provided for those in attendance (while supplies last) and the first 20 attendees will receive exclusive CSIFF swag.

The Center for Student Engagement and Intercultural Programs invites all campus partners to support the GovState Food Pantry by participating in the "Spirit of Giving" Donation Drive. Show your GovState spirit by wearing the university colors and donating much-needed items from the list below:

  • Toothpaste
  • Mouthwash
