The College of Health and Human Services regularly holds information sessions or open houses designed to introduce prospective students to its degree or certificate programs. There is no better way to learn about our programs than attending one of these events.
You’ll have an opportunity to meet with the faculty who actually teach the courses, and you’ll be able to ask questions about prerequisites, degree requirements and the profession itself.
Upcoming information sessions are listed below.
The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship® --Applications Due February 1, 2016
The Schweitzer Fellowship® is an award given to graduate students in health and human service fields who are interested in developing themselves as leaders in service.
Each Fellow designs and then implements an innovative project that helps to improve the health and well-being of an underserved Chicago community. Each Fellow partners with an existing health center, school, or social service agency, where they complete at least 200 hours of direct service. The Fellows also work together to plan public symposia on health issues and community service days.
All College of Health and Human Services students and interested faculty members are welcome to apply.
