Civic engagement is a core
value at our institution; as such, promoting civic engagement is an
institution-wide effort. The Center for
Civic Engagement and Community Service located in A building, room 2132 and is
designed to be a one-stop-shop for students, faculty and community members
focusing on social justice and civic responsibility. Students interested in
service opportunities, faculty interested in incorporating service and civic
engagement activities in their classes, and community partners interested in
recruiting volunteers, will be able to bridge resources through this
office. We seek to
advance the education of students to become actively engaged citizens,
life-long scholars and leaders on campus, locally, regionally, and globally.
