We provide a fun and safe space to build self-esteem, foster independence, and grow as individuals while learning to work as an ensemble. A team of teaching artists, led by Whitney and Paul Minarik, will guide campers as they write their own scripts and develop their acting, singing, and dancing skills. Throughout the week, campers will create their own version of the story and songs inspired by the movie and musical, Shrek. The final day of camp culminates with a live performance on our incredible Center stage for families and friends that showcases a week of hard work and creativity!

Description: Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award-winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie KIDS features everyone’s favorite orphan in her very first adventure.

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

During this two-week long camp, young performers ages 8-15, will explore and rehearse this fun (abridged) version of the popular musical. Final performance Friday, June 28, at 7pm.
