A story by Sarah Wegley, Library Operations Associate for Digital Metadata & Web Services, was recently included in the new book, “A Student’s Guide to the Deaf Experience: Stories from
the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community.”
Sarah was asked to contribute a story by the book’s editor. She chose to write about receiving her name sign in Costa Rica while on a trip with Discovering Deaf Worlds of Rochester, NY. Sarah hopes sharing her experience will help raise awareness of this worthy organization.
